Those most affected by climate change must be included as part of the solution. We aim to teach children affected by climate change about the forces that are causing it. We will grant them a platform within their local community as well as on the global stage to advocate for change. We will provide innovative solutions tailored to the children’s and their community’s needs.
Just as gardeners nurture young plants to flourish in harsh conditions, Grow the Future cultivates young minds, equipping them with the knowledge, voice, and innovations needed to thrive in a changing climate. By planting the seeds of resilience and empowerment, we ensure that the next generation can bloom into advocates and innovators, transforming their communities and the world.

The initiative Grow the Future started by Barnfonden Sweden, Educo Spain and WeWorld Italy. All are members of the ChildFund Alliance, a network of 11 child-focused organisations reaching nearly 36 million children and family members in 70 countries. ChildFund Alliance is one of the largest organisations supporting children globally.
The initiative will drive change across four critical areas, each designed to empower young people and their communities to tackle climate challenges and make a lasting impact: Informative Education, Empowering Advocacy, Building Resilience, and Innovative Solutions and Skills. Through these targeted efforts, the initiative will amplify young voices, strengthen community resilience, and foster the skills needed to create a sustainable future.
